Marwane:
He's sitting in an accent chair in the living room, legs dangling over the armrest as he reads his book. Capturing his bottom lip between his teeth, he turns a page, completely lost to the world for a moment.

Dennis
He enters the living room only wearing trousers, his damp hair and skin revealing he'd just taken a shower. He dives into the couch and lets out a happy groan as he props his head in Felicity's lap, looking up at her beautiful face and grins like a fool at her, "hey"

Felicity
She looks down at Dennis with a smile on her lips, "your hair is making my clothes wet" she says, patting his forehead lightly and musses up his silver hair.

Charles:
He walks into the living room, face glued to the newspaper that he's currently holding, trying to find out whether something interesting has happened.

Marwane:
As Valentin enters, his attention is immediately drawn to him, and he sits up in the chair. Following his damp, shirtless chest with keen eyes, Marwane's mouth dries up as if he's suddenly shoved it full of cotton balls. "Hey Val...entin," he sputters, barely catching what would surely be a fatal mistake should he call Valentin by his unofficial nickname on accident. Fucking idiot, speak properly, he thinks to himself, cheeks warming with embarrassment.

Valentin
He fights off Fel's hand and looks at Marwane, "Hey, Marvin" he says, winking before looking at the walking newspaper. "Anything new?" he asks, sitting a little up and leans on his elbows.

Felicity
As Charles enters the room she stops playing with Valentin's hair, looking at the newspaper with a faint expression. "You alright, Charles?" she asks, smiling.

Charles:
He throws the newspaper down on the table next to the sofa, not looking all too pleased. "Another "animal" attack," he exclaims. "If the vampire king won't get around to actually steering the wheel, then we will all be exposed in no time!"

Marwane:
He tries not to glare at Valentin, hiding his face behind his book and trying to control his breathing. As Charles speaks up, he peers over the edge of the book to watch him with interest. "We should just kill all the reporters," he pipes up with a lopsided smile, obviously very intimidated by Charles.

Felicity
"That's not good" she says, her face drawn into concern before looking at Marwane. "Oh yeah, definitely, because that will solve it" she says with a sarcastic tone, rolling her eyes.

Valentin
"You're all making too much of a fuss over this small matter" he says, now sitting up properly in the couch, leaning forward on his knees as he looks at his .. friends? "So what if the humans find out about us? They wouldn't know how to sort us out from the crowd" he says calmly, looking at all three of them.

Charles:
"Have you thought about the dormant vampires then? They may think they're some kind of special human beings sent from the heavens to kill us vampires, have you thought about that?" he directs his question at Valentin, his tone very dry. "I've been thinking. Maybe it's time for a new vampire king? He's getting old," he ponders, looking at the others.

Marwane:
The look he directs at Felicity drips with malice, and he's about to say something when Charles' words hit him. Eyes widening slightly in shock, his head snaps back to him, teeth worrying at his bottom lip again. His throat feels tight.

Valenting
"Oh God, not this again" he groans, rubbing his eyes with his palms. "How are we supposed to overcome the vampire king who has powers far beyond our tiny fragments of imagination?" he says, leaning back in the couch and puts an arm around Felicity, looking at Charles with a questioning look.

Felicity
"Yeah, what Valentin said" she pipes up, folding her arms and looks at Charles.

Charles:
"Well, first and foremost, I know a lot of vampires are growing tired of him. Secondly, we could be able to outnumber him, all of us do have kind of special powers, even for vampires," he says, looking at all of them. "And I was considering building up a community of these dormant vampires, make them believe they're vampire slayers. They could be a useful part of taking him down." He ponders for a bit before adding; "Of course we wouldn't rush into it, we'd have to be patient."

Marwane:
His huge, red eyes are staring intensely at Charles as he talks, and he puts his book down on a table, crossing one leg over the other. "But they would be tricked into killing their own kind, Charles. Our kind," he cautions with a soft voice, not daring to look at Valentin at the moment.

Valentin
"Marwane has a point, Charles" he chimes in, looking at Marwane with a fixed expression. "We shouldn't become enemies with them, we should team up with them" he continues, looking at Charles.

Fel
She bites her lip and looks down at the floor, thinking. "I actually support Charles on this one."

Charles:
"Well, they wouldn't think we are vampires, we would obviously pose as slayers ourselves. Besides, there's always casualties in war. I wouldn't mind sacrificing a few of our own for the greater good," he answers Marwane before turning to Felicity, giving her a smile. "Thank you, Fel."

Marwane:
He can feel his face heating up as his peripheral vision tells him Valentin is looking at him. Standing up, his lanky form walks over to where Charles threw the newspaper earlier, and he picks it up, skin prickling all over. "Maybe we should just give them a scapegoat," he says as he skims through the article, hands white from the exertion of keeping them steady. "I could probably make them believe a bear did it..."

Valentin
He gets up from the couch himself and walks over to Marwane, standing right behind him as he reads through the paper. "That could work" he agrees, eyes still on the newpaper.

Marwane:
He jumps slightly as Valentin's sudden proximity, twisting around so they're face to face, heart beating so fast and hard he can feel it in his ears. "Did you want to read..?" he begins and holds out the newspaper hesitantly, not able to keep eye contact with Valentin.

Valentin
He looks down at Marwane with a peculiar expression, before twisting into a smile. "Already did, kidding" he says, ruffling up his hair. A draft of wind from a nearby window sends shivers down Valentins body, clasping his own body he lets out a small sound of discomfort. "I'm gonna get dressed" he says to the rest and walks out of the living room, heading for his bedroom.

Marwane:
He pulls a disgruntled face as Valentin ruffles his hair, shying away from his touch but craving it at the same time; a mix of feelings that leaves him confused and wanting. When Valentin suddenly begins to leave, he only needs a split second to know that his moments alone with him are limited, and he doesn't particularly want to hang out with Felicity and Charles. Striding out of the living room, his eyes catch Valentin further down the hall. "Valentin! Hold on," he calls out, trying to keep his voice steady.

Valentin
Je turns slightly at the call of his name and looks at Marwane, "what? Wanna watch me get dressed?" he ask with a cheeky grin on his face before shrugging, "fine with me". He waits for him to catch up before wrapping an arm around his shoulder and pulls him closer to his body. "Charles has been drinking too much blood lately" he says, looking at Marwane, "you know, the whole taking down the vampire king plan" he continues and looks straight ahead, his face thoughtful.

Marwane:
He inhales sharply at the joke and tries to smooth over his expression to appear more suave than he's currently feeling. "That wasn't why--" he begins, abashed, and barely stifles his squawk as he's suddenly pulled in close. The parts of his body now in contact with Valentin jolt as if burned, stomach twisting painfully. Wide, intimidated eyes gaze up at him, full of worry and adore. "I don't know...he seemed to have given it quite some thought," he says apprehensively while attempting to make sense of Valentin's pensive expression. "He's always going to be planning ahead, isn't he? If it's not this, then it's something else."

Valentin
"Maybe" he says, letting out a long sigh before turning to his room, using a hand to push Marwane gently through the open door and closes it behind him. He looks at his clothes scattered on the floor with his hands on his hips: "now lets see, what's clean" he mumbles to himself. Inspecting the clothes on his floor he tries to find the cleanest shirt that doesn't smell too much or has too many stains, he continues picking up shirts before tossing them away behind him, his face becoming more annoyed at how long it's taking.

Marwane:
The shock on his face only becomes more evident as he finds himself in the middle of the floor of Valentin's bedroom for the first time since he was a child, glancing around with what he hopes comes across as casualness. Truth of the matter is that the more he looks, the more he notices the little things that compliment Valentin's persona, which is only making his heart beat even faster. Whenever Valentin bends down, he can't help his wandering eyes, and the sight sending a surge of teenage hormones straight to his groin. Cheeks heating up again, he takes a few hesitant steps backwards before his back is suddenly up against the door. "Are you finding anything?" he asks, just to fill the silence, tipping his chin to appear haughty.
